Corporate Fundraising Coordinator

Home-Start in Suffolk, Martlesham Heath

Job type: Permenant
18 hours per week
£23,500 FTE (Pro Rata £11,432 per year)

Home-Start offers a unique service. We recruit and train volunteers,  to visit families at home and offer them informal, friendly and confidential support. The families we help have at least one child under 12.

To help give children the best possible start in life, Home-Start supports parents as they grow in confidence, strengthen their relationship with their children and widen their links with the local community.

We have a responsibility to give our supported families a voice, highlighting the challenges they are facing and telling their stories in the right way, showing compassion and empathy. We are responsible for celebrating the amazing work of our volunteers and the incredible work they do to support families!

We must continue to promote the charity and engage with local businesses, securing sponsorships, hosting fundraising events and activities that will ensure the continued growth in fundraising revenue.

Our recent strategic plan has placed a greater emphasis on the generation of unrestricted income, in line with improving the scope of organisations that we partner with.

The Corporate Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a rolling programme of prospect identification, research and nurturing of relationships, specifically for corporate fundraising.

In this role you will proactively engage with the local business community and business leaders across the county to maximise income generation by offering stewardship and ideation for new and existing supporters.

This will include drafting and submitting applications, developing fundraising relationships, and meeting partner requirements. The post holder will also be required to support and attend fundraising events with the purpose of networking and relationship building.
